Have You Met...

Hillary vs. Obama

This election is the longest relationship I have had in a long time.
I’ve been confused, happy, upset, biter, angry, happy again, and confused again to the point of being disillusioned and then finding a happy moment to remember so that I stick it out! It’s crazy!

The question is, as Delilah wrote on my Crash the Parties! page… “wendy carrillo: would u say that hillary is a few french fries short of a happy meal?”

I don’t know Delilah… should she stay or should she go?
If she goes it would be trouble… but if she stays, it could be double!

Here are some numbers on Delegates according to CNN:
Obama: 1,881
Hillary: 1,713
Needed to win: 2,025

So… what should our party do? Should we continue with the popular vote?
Will Puerto Rico matter? Should we buy Hillary Clinton a Happy Meal?
Am I finally in a dysfunctional but committed relationship?

Let me hear your thoughts!

I have never been impressed by Hillary Clinton, and now I can completely see why. At this point i akin her to a bad case of head lice that won't go away.

She managed to stack her chips high enough to attempt to strong arm her way into the white house, one way or another...yes she is calculating. But I think her strategy will end up being her demise. I forsee that she will in fact NOT be on the ticket and her shenanigans will have only gained her the disrespect of the Democratic Party...she should quit while she can recover.

OBAMANOS

wow!!! LadyG3! what a great analogy! Barack as the other woman! and the man being the oval office! do you mind if i use that as my usc thesis?? Brilliant!

you know, in a conversation with a friend, I realized that Hillary has been in a state of denial for a long time. She is a former republican (let's not judge!) who was radicalized while in college. Her marriege fiasco w/ Bill and Monica was a huge emberrasement for her, yet, she charged forward, in denial of it all, saving her marriege? that is still debatable. Maybe the proposition was "bill, i will stay with you so that you can save face, you good for nothing blah blah blah, because you are my ticket to the white house once i am a senator for NY!" Its all political strategy. But Bill has been such a huge liability for her. Its really just tragic. UNLESS, the strategy is that Bill really wants Obama to win. Wouldnt that be something?! I mean, being one of the most charismatic presidents of all time, Im sure he has to KNOW his comments are going to be largely examined. Hillary saying that she has the white vote is a huge issue as well. I mean, why divide the country like that? i know plenty of white folks who support Obama. is she saying that without the white vote Democrats cant win and therefor all other non-white votes dont matter?
Ya'll need to watch the opening HRC SNL sketch that aired 05.10 Where is Tina Fey now?!

Is Hillary a few french fries short of a happy Meal? Just how many fries are suppose to be in a happy Meal anyway? I need to start counting making sure they aren't shorting my daughter when she gets one.

But, really, In my opinion, (and of course this is not based on anything but my experiences, filter blah blah) I believe that Hillary Clinton is a phenomenal woman. Hillary is a shewrd and cunning business woman. But, I digress, She has made it her life to get to this point and she has gone a bit mad watching all her well laid plans ravel at the ends. She planned on being the winner and had blinders on.In her quest for the nomination she could not fathom others would not see her the nominee because she has created, molded and shaped her whole persona to be the prime canidate. She planned it all but as we know, you can't control everything. She didn't bank on Barack striking a cord the people. She didn't plan on his speeches stirring harmony and hope in the hearts of so many Americans. Hillary is so driven to being the leader of this country but her well constructed mask has slipped a bit and revealed...a woman. She is fighting for something she loves that is being taken from her, much like a woman who is losing to another female rival for the man she loves. in this case, Hillary's passion and love of her life is the nomination and Barack is "the other woman". As the old saying goes Hell hath no fury as a woman scorned.
So yes, she has probably lost a few fries along the way trying to grasp at the french fries that she saw being taken from her. As a woman, I kinda understand.
This is not an endorsement btw, my vote is with Obama.
