Have You Met...

Here She Comes To Save the Day!

When the world comes to an end, isn’t it comforting to know Jessica Alba will be visible?

As Jessica Alba kicks butt in the summer blockbuster "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer," some of us are still having a hard time accepting the world's sexiest woman as The Invisible Woman. Her acting is just fine; it’s her actual character we have a problem with. When you get a bombshell with a brain like Alba in a film, wouldn’t you want her to be visible at all times? We at [Sí] Entertainment think Jess would've used her maximum potential by being a semi-clothed action heroine elsewhere. Here are three Super Heroines whose costumes and characters she would do justice:

Wonder Woman
As a founding member of the Justice League she is among the most famous comic book superheroes. Created by the gods of myth with their strength, speed and wisdom, the Amazon princess Diana entered the "world of men" as Wonder Woman. She represents a strong independent mujer whose magic lasso made men spill the truth. I know a few ladies that would love that power! Jessica would do wonders (pun intended) for that costume and we'd love to see her as a brunette again. Since WW was portrayed by half-mexicana Linda Carter in the '70s TV show, we'd like to keep her a fierce Latina on the silver screen as well.

She-Ra
Also known as "The Princess of Power," she is He-Man’s twin sister Adora. Together they fought against the evils of Skeletor and costume oxidation (a metal bra is a bitch to upkeep). Not to mention she telepathically spoke to animals and could heal people with her touch. We vote J. Alba for this role because anyone who can keep up with He-Man should look better than him in tights. Besides, wouldn’t the world just be a happier place if females were runnin’ things?

Supergirl
Most people may only recognize Superman as the only hero that could fly, see through walls and lift cars with one arm. But his cousin, Super Girl (also known as “The Girl of Steel”) matched his strength. And why else does she kick ass? Because she has woman’s intuition. When asked about his prima, Superman described her as “Physically, the mightiest female of all time! But at heart, she's as gentle and sweet and is as quick to tears as any ordinary girl! I guess that's why everyone who meets her loves her!” If you get kudos from Superman, you must be important. And after the much-hyped big screen version of this, it’s time to see Clark’s female counterpart and no other Latina can do a better job at kickin’ tail and saving the world than Ms. Alba.
