I couldn't resist posting this because it took me back....waaayyyy back....to when I was a self-bonafied New Kids on the Block fanatic!!! I loved these five guys and thought they were the best thing since sliced bread and slouch socks. But do I want them to return? Do I anticipate them breaking back into the music industry? I'd have to say NOOOOOOO......

I thought this was something from my past that I locked tight in a time capsule not to be revealed until I was long gone. But to my surprise they are making a daring return to a music industry that is totally different from the industry they were once on top of. I mean I thought Donnie Wahlberg moved on to movies (Saw II or was it III) and wasn't Jordan Knight on a season of VH1's Surreal Life? I had no idea where my favorite member, Joey McIntyre went but I do recall reading an article on him about 2 years ago where he said he would not reunite with NKOTB because he had moved on. As for the other two, well they weren't really ever part of the limelight. Sorry Jonathan and Danny but its true!

I wish I could get excited but since NKOTB we've witnessed the likes of NSYNC, Back Street Boys and more recently, the pelvic thrusts of artists like Justin Timberlake, Usher and Chris Brown. So I ask myself: Will the guys I loved so much as an adolescent be able to quench my entertainment thirst as an adult? We will soon see. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and will always be HANGIN' TOUGH! Sorry I just couldn't resist.
