      If some You dont already know september 16 is mexican indepandence day, paisas you BESt know this by now. HEHE This past sunday there was a mexican independence parade in my home town of EAST LOS!!! on Avenida Cesar Chavez. I Got to participate playing in my compa Claudio's Tamborazo band, this wasnt my first time in a parade but it still kicked ass. I saw many familiar faces amongst the crowd and i veven got pointed out a few times.  I heard somebody yell UPGOUND!!!!!, I also heard LOOK! Its ERIC!!! and somebody even shouted FRASTAKANG!!!! which is what they call me around the neighborhood. I was in the hot ass sun for more than an hour but its allllllll good I had fun. I felt a great sense of pride to be a part of this event  with all mi gente. Hopefully i get invited next year too :)
