They truly define the use of imagery in their lyrics. 
What is he trying to say? Better yet, what is he describing?

I can see something, paint a full on picture in my head but others might just see empty words.
I can't analyze the Doors, simply because whatever it is that he IS saying, will certainly not be something many can just guess and/or analyze.
His thoughts, our visions.
He gives a little push to light up our imaginations.

Thats what i think.
