Permanent make-up. A kind of crazy idea... I mean it seems like it would be pretty nice. But really weird too. I mean what would I get? I don't know about eyeliner... I really like not having to wear it sometimes. Like when we're home... I have nice clean eyes. No sticky eyelids in the morning when I wake-up. But I guess it wouldn't be sticky. It would be a tattoo. No. Lipstick? Uhhh. No way. No... bad idea for me. I like lip stain and some Burt's Bees balm. But I do want to get my nose pierced. I've wanted to since I was 16. I feel like if I still want to, I really should. I mean, it's not like I haven't had time to think about it.

I'm excited to be heading back to LA for a couple weeks. We're working on new songs... SO COOL! Luis is a Garage Band master and I know how to do my parts. It's the first time we're writing like this... usually it's acoustic style with piles and piles of paper and praying our memories won't fail us. This way is a lot faster and we can take our time and work on more than one song at a time if we want to. We've got a good 14 songs so far... we want to have at least 2x that before we go into the studio. We're thinking this fall will be a good time to record. I can't wait. We've had a really cool couple years, seen a lot, grown a lot, met a zillion people, seen the world changing... in other words... a lot to write about.

Here's a little picture show for you of the last few days... these dates up the coast were AWESOME! The shows were good! The weather was BEEE EWE TEE FUL. Everything was sweet.
