Have You Met...

Ever Broken Someone's NOSE?

Before I begin, I want  you to know Chris says he still loves me…

After the AWESOME show last night in Albuquerque I was so insane I decided to fly through the drums. No big deal usually BUT it was a big deal last night. I flew so hard and made almost no contact with Chris or the drums and instead SMASHED into the wall. I hit it so hard I immediately dropped my bass to check my head for blood. You know, I end up bleeding sometimes. Well I accidentally dropped my bass right on Chris' face. He very calmly said, "Broken nose. Uhhh I broke my nose." It was then I noticed the blood pouring out like cheap ketchup. Luckily we had loads of peole willing and wanting to help. Suffrajett included. Geeze, first show together and there was blood! They made sure we had plenty of booze for us and ice for Chris. It's going to be a great tour.

Oh and It was even weirder because right after soundcheck I mentioned that the stage looked quite treacherous (metal ladder, side loft at head level, metal 6 inch posts at the corners etc.) and that we should be careful. Chris' response was, "Well at least there's a wall behind the drums for a change."

Do do do do, do do do do (Twillight Show Theme Song please)

OUCH">

So no show tonight. We took our time and went the LOOOONG way to Roswell. It was SO BEAUTIFUL. AND QUIET! We made a stop at some Native American Ruins, saw an eagle, a dead coyote and not much else. My phone is acting crazy so I'll have to post the beeeeutiful desert pics tomorrow.

For dinner we ate all we could at a Chinese Buffet and are currently lounging in a hotel.  I'm going to go take an intensely hot bath and try to sweat out this stupid cold I have.

Life is good.
