A midnight trip to La Placita Olvera

On tuesday night my friend heard about this event happening at midnight at La Placita Olvera in downtown Los Angeles, so she calls me at night to ask me if I want to go at midnight in the freezing cold and well because I'm always down for an adventure I said yes so we went to find thousands of people with flowers and candles walking towards the church, it was hella crazy but very cool.

"Thousands of Roman Catholic faithful visited Our Lady Queen of Angels Church in downtown L.A. to commemorate the day in 1531 when the Virgin Mary is said to have appeared to Juan Diego, a Nahuatl Indian." -LA Times

Check out some images from the event.
