For a guy who is pretty much had enough first-person shooting games for a year, Turok looks interesting. I got the 30 minute demo over the weekend which put me right in the middle of a cave, filled with Raptors, and I needed to find a way out. For those unfamiliar, Turok is a sci-fi adventure that takes place on a distant planet that you’ve crash landed on where dinosaurs rule. Not only do you have to battle a bunch of dinosaurs, you have to take out the bad guys to you can get off the God-forsaken world.

To give it that Hollywood feel, Touchstone and Propaganda Games have tapped Donnie Wahlberg (“Saw II”, “Kill Point”), William Fichtner (“Prison Break”), Timothy Olyphant (“Hitman”, “Live Free or Die Hard”), Powers Boothe (“24”, “Deadwood”) and Ron Perlman (“Hellboy”) to voice the major characters in the game. The game will hits stores on February 8 for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC but you can get the 30-minute demo I have if you pre-order Turok at a local Gamestop. For your pleasure, here’s the trailer:
