Of course i'm talking about the one and only, Charlton Heston. He died this weekend and i'm not gonna lie, it really didn't effect me in any way. No offense to him or his family. But it wasn't like when Biggie or Pun died. I was devastated when Big bit the bullet and Pun bit the big one. 

 

But regardless to whom or what, I will say that I appreciated the man's performances in The 10 Commandments and Ben-Hur. My old earth is a real Catholic so growing up she watched those movies over and over and over. Hence, so did I. And I must say that he killed those roles. Best Bible movies ever made. Even The Passion of The Christ couldn't see these joints. What really bugged me out is that he had the same characteristics in both movies. Ben-Hur and Moses were two very different men. But whatever. It's all good. I bet the REAL Moses is telling him, "Man, I was soooo not like that. I was more thorough and less preachy. You didn't - you couldn't - man, you just f*cked up...." Either way, I know I enjoyed the performances. So pour out a little liquor for the man who freed his people, had a crazy horse race and battled a planet of apes... in movies anyway. RIP, Senor Heston...
