I subjected myself to the torture of attending the "Somebody Help Me" NY Premier this week. Why? Well it was a Monday night, I figured it's something to do right? So I dragged my cousin along to see how bad this movie would really be.

IT WAS VERY BAD. SUPERBAD.

But before I even sat down to watch the screening, some interesting things took place. I stood out on the red carpet, which was more of a hallway of the Bryant Park Hotel..and waited for the celebs to roll in. Except the only one who did was Asia from the Pussycat Dolls. Exactly, who is that? So everyone skipped taking her pic and just waited for the stars of the evening: Omarion and Marques Houston.

They finally graced us with their presence...all four feet of them. They are the shortest people I have ever seen in my whole life.

Highlights of the evening included:

A reporter asking Omarion why he is excited about the film...him replying because it is the first "herbal" scary movie.... (meant to say Urban)

A reporter asking Omarion if he was going to sit and watch the film with us....him replying "Hell no I am not watching that thing for the 10th time"

Lastly, the duo being forced by their press team to sit down and pretend they are staying. Them both sitting behind me. Me asking them if they can see ok over my hair (they are short). Omarion saying to me "don't worry your hair is not too big, it's pretty, so pretty I want to touch it" Sigh. My cousin hasn't stopped teasing me since, she found this dialogue amusing. Too bad he can't even reach my hair.

Moral of the story: Do not buy this DVD. It went straight to DVD for a reason.
