The View debates the "N' word

Number 1) Throughout the entire time Whoopi was speaking Elizabeth continued to interject and speak over her, she didn't want to listen 2) The very fact that Elizabeth chooses not to acknowledge nor understand the world that Whoopi speaks of is a direct example of her white privelege. To Elizabeth our world is "one" world because for her and her experience growing up as a white woman there are priveleges that she has inherited that her world has been "normal". Whoopi pointed this out when saying how her mother couldn't even vote in the United States as a black woman, we're under the same world yet her mother recieved discrimination and prejudice. 3) For me Elizabeth's tears is only because she finally was put on the spot, and is being pushed to be in a place that is uncomfortable for her. 4) For the other comments below to say that Whoopi is being a racist is ridiculous, when you see other folks on this same comment board using degratory words such as "knuckle draggers" and "niigers" There are far too many nuances in this argument. Look at Barbara Walters, never once did she get upset, why? It's because she understands the nuances of her white privelege. Whoopi you have my support all the way. I'm glat that you're at least on the show.
