The Hip hop action summit returned with their fifth annual action awrads last night at the swanky NYC club Capitale. THe action network is a non-profit, non-partisan national coalition of artists, entertainment industry leaders, education advocates, civil rights proponents and youth leaders united in the belief that the "hip-hop" phenomena is an enormously influential agent for positive social change which must be responsibly and pro-actively utilized to fight the war on poverty and injustice.

Last night the summit honored the likes of Ciara, LL Cool J, Snoop Dogg, Jim Jones to name a few. Everyone came decked out in their Sunday best (even Snoop amazed the crowed when he came in wearing a suit). Check out the pics:
