"LOVE Me All Summer, HATE Me All Winter" is the name of Def Jam’s new singer/songwriters, The-Dream’s CD. The two words that describe this CD are IMPRESSIVE & SOLID.

A lot of people are familiar with The-Dream because he wrote the smash single, “UMBRELLA” for Rihanna and because he has a single out entitled “Shawty is a Ten”. The CD, LOVE HATE which has 12 tracks is produced by hit producer, Tricky Stewart and the man himself, ANTONIO “LA” REID. The guest features on the CD are Fabolous and Rihanna. The hottest songs on LOVE HATE are “Fast Car”, “She Needs My Love”, “Falsetto” and “Ditch That…”

Overall I give The-Dream’s debut CD three dollar signs ($$$) because the majority of the songs tell a story and make you actually listen to the lyrics and not just groove to the beat. In addition the production is top notch and the sequencing and transition flows right into each other which make the CD easy to listen to. Even though The-Dream only sings in 2 octaves and is limited in his vocals he still rides the tracks very well. Honestly if he could sing I would have given him 4 dollar signs but that’s one of the areas where he needs improvement. Also I’m the last one to talk about someone’s image but brother……keep them sunglasses on and hat on because OMG…. you could be Ce-Lo’s or Jazze Pha’s little brother (RUFF)! The CD is on sell at TARGET (SHAMELESS PLUG) for $8 bucks, it’s totally worth it!
