On this journey of life, things happen to us along the way. Some things are out of our control. Some things leave us feeling victimized and scarred deeply (if we so consent). Some things are a result of bad choices made. As we grow and begin to do the real work within, we then begin to regain our power by forgiving those who are in turmoil (fear)..those who have been seperated from love and live in fear. We choose to rise above cicumstances. As we develop spiritually we understand the importance of taking responsibility and our ability to choose how we will live in the world. In my young life, things have occurred that left me hurt, discouraged and asking why. As i began to learn more about love, my understanding deepened. Love is a force/energy we all want and need and the lack of, leaves us in fear, discontent, apathy, rage, confusion, etc...The closer one gets to love, they let go of things that are out of their control...they no longer are the victim. One begins to forgive, heal ones self and regain their power! Love is the gateway to freedom and peace of mind. Love develops true understanding, it is the highest of the high!! In the case of heartbreak, betrayal, bad descions made, etc... We should ask ourselves, " what part in this did i play" ..."What part of myself am i not seeing" and take responsibility for our role (creation). With every painful experience there lies an opportunity for growth, a lesson to be learned... strenghth waits on the other side, an opportunity to get it right the next time cuz we know better. I believe we create and attract all that is in our lives. We can choose to be a victim (fear) or to be free (love). Nothing means anything except the meaning we give it. This is wisdom that challenges me often. In difficult/challenging moments i ask myself how am i going to see this/feel this/experience this? I have a choice here. I think of love and let go. This is'nt always easy to do...it's a process. However, the more i discipline myself in this area, the easier it gets and the more at peace/flow i feel, not to mention the more magic and possibilities i create (that's another blog..lol!)....i strive to live in love everyday... as often as i can. Love has given me compassion and understanding. Love has given me the strenghth and the power to be still when i need to be, let go when i need to. Love has given me the gift to wish the best for others...the knowingness that we either live in love (heaven) or fear (hell) and we choose...The shine you see and the smile on my face is the love in me...Love has given me The gift to say i love you and sincerely mean it, because i love me...Love teaches me that we all are one...wanting and needing... LOVE.

My friend Vivien gave me this lovely red book of daily inspirations..love u Vivi...this story, below, inspired me to write and share my thoughts of love 2nite. The piece below was written by Karen S. Wylie. Enjoy!

I've been thinking about oneness lately and what that really implies. If it is true that the one before me has hurt me is really me, then how can i possibly cast a stone at him? It softens my heart to think that he is really the suffering (or angry or violent) part of me that has not quite yet realized it's inseperability from GOD (LOVE). Why else would he be in my path and in front of me? He would be doing the dance (of love or fire) with someone else. How that eases my heart and enables me then to touch the place of forgiveness inside of me. It is like a fast track to keeping my heart open and my love so present.

I am so appreciative of being able to grasp my connection to all that is at such a deep level. My only job (no matter what confronts me) is to keep my heart open and my love flowing. It is a gift to the one before me and, of course because we are connected, it is a gift to me! The more i realize the truth of this and the more i practice remembering it in the moment of occurrence, the more my personal suffering diminishes. Ah, it is only that fear-filled part of me that i see before me.

Once again, we are ultimately left to our own devices to create the world of peace and love that we wish to inhabit. We will continue to bump into those who are carrying the message of our own redemption. They show us what we have yet to embrace about ourselves. So i continue to learn and grow, and i remain fearless as i head downstream. I am in flow. I do not fight with what is. There is a tremendous sense of freedom in that, and I am so grateful!
