 Here Lauryn speaks about The Fugees, The "Ms. Hill" rumors and her new album. We have'nt heard from Luaryn in a while...There have been tons of rumors about her being "craaazy"& "deraaaanged"...It's obvious this woman is on another kind of mission. She is dancing 2 the beat of a different drum...so often we shun the things we dont quite understand...huh?! Yup! Maybe she is out of her mind..so what! Most extremely talented people are. In every Lauryn Hill record I've ever heard, she speaks of the human condition, she sheds her heart, her pain, she makes us think and feel something...real. I personally appreciate her for this. Like many of us, she is working thru her isht! I loved her "UNPLUGGED" album...it was raw, she was raw....her point was "reality". She let us in on her struggles as an Artist in the lime light...her realizations, her confusion..Her moment in time...It takes courage 2 sit infront of an audience that way..no make-up, no bells, no whistles, no band or background singers...sing and make mistakes on live television. I applaude her 4 facing her constraints and her desire 2 get out the box. I dont know her personally...maybe some of the rumors we hear about her are true, maybe they're not...I dont know..again, who cares? God Bless her! I do know this woman is very intense, highly gifted and intelligent. I appreciate this woman 4 making me feel something thru her music other than a bass line or a catchy hook that makes me nod my head or shake my a**! Hmmmm...arent we all a work in progress! Yes Lawd!
