Like a good portion of the country, I'm not from anywhere near New England or New York, which means I have no vested in either team playing year's Super Bowl.  That being said, I think it'll make for a very exciting matchup and I'm actually still on the fence on who to root for.

On one hand, you've got Tom Brady and the Patriots.  1 game away from making NFL history with the perfect no-loss season.  No one from our generation has yet to see this happen, so for that it's an interesting record-breaking event.  On the OTHER hand, everyone loves an underdog and that's just what Eli Manning and the New York Giants are bringing to the table.  A team that's worked it tail off to make it to the Bowl and could theoretically take down the New England juggernaut.  Sure the odds aren't fully in their favor, but a NY victory in this battle would be phenomenal to watch.

So if anything, for us West Coasters it adds a little extra excitement to Sunday's matchup and another excuse to get wasted, eat chips n' dip, and root for one helluva game!
