St. Louis-area town considers proposal that would ban swearing in bars

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse. There's a bill being discussed this 14th of January which ban indecent, profane or obscene language, songs, entertainment and literature at St. Louis bars. In other words they should all just start hanging out at the library. Bar owners are extremely upset, and with just cause, at the fact that they wouldn't even be allowed to play the type of music they want. Forget playing any rap, rock, death metal, or any sort of political based song!! Only nursery rhymes and praise music, no wait, that might insult the atheists.
It seems our country's getting a little bit closer to a dictatorship everyday! Something needs to be done. If this bill passes then other cities are going to attempt to follow. The beautiful thing about our country is that we are all individuals with our own minds, likes, choices, and beliefs and we all have the CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT to practice them as we wish. Something like this goes against everything the country stands for. It's one thing to try and take away our privacy by using the excuse of national security, but this is just plain ignorant!
