So for those of you who don't know, i have had this obsession with monkies for a minute now. Matter fact if you have visited my myspace page in the past, you may have noticed my name was "Urban Space Monkey" for a while.

It's a long story to explain how the whole monkey thing got started, but somewhere along the way, a few freinds and I did some investigating of our animal totems and I figured out I was part monkey.

So anyway for a few months I had been saying, man, I want to play with a monkey. Maybe the universe will bring me a monkey.

Anyway, back in February, I performed at the NACA nationals showcase in St Louis, and lo and behold, there was a guy in one of the booths who specialized in bringing exotic animals to parties and gatherings, and wouldn't you know it, he was right behind our booth. So this is me with Mindy, the 18 month old white faced cinnamon Capuchin monkey.

So i got to play with a monkey. How cool is that?

She even sat on my shoulder and started grooming my hair and pulling out bobby pins.
It was awesome.
