I just played a Local gig in NJ, with my band, Erben Perez, and Marc Quinones. In Maplewood NJ.... WHERE THE HELL IS MAPLEWOOD???? (lol) How do I find these places?? Low and behold, it turned out to be a pretty cool little spot. From what I gather it was a privately owned spot, where a secret society of veterans, that held the answers to many of the worlds greatest secrets, would gather and reminisce about old times, a place that was turned into a Pub for the performing arts, great cover!!!!! Anyways, I get there early and there's this amazing little girl performing - she's only 12 years old (it was an all ages show) and this girl rocked!! Her name was Tatiana Lima, her covers were nice, had a lot of potential, but she blew us away when she did a cover of Sweet child of mine by GnR’s , amazing she did her own thing and nailed every part even better than Axl, anyways, Erben and I looked at each other and told the owner we were not going on stage after that LOL, after we met her and she was so cute and sweet... check her out on Myspace. So we went on, did our set, the place was packed,( it wasn’t a huge spot so it was easy to pack) but, my friends were there, family, and was a great intimate setting, we did our thing, and it turned out awesome, I was very pleased, nervous, cause whenever I Play with Marc and Erben, I get nervous, these guys are so freaking good, I have to block them out of my head and just focus on playing my music, LOL, but it was all good, I owe these guys a lot just for being there!!! I definitely look forward to keeping everyone updated as I have a lot on my plate over the next few months, between the South American Tour with Marc Anthony and my upcoming showcase in Miami and featured performances at the Cancun Fashion Week & Cancun International Film Festival ....
