Whats up everyone- I’ve recently written a few new songs that I really really love, I think one of them is definitely going to be my new single , its called “We’re still the same." its funny, because I write songs about my personal life experiences or the reflection of others who have crossed my path, and I think I've written a song for 2 of my 5 brothers and my mother, so one day my father asked me if I could write a song about him..... I told him, I cant just sit down and write songs, although some people can do that and make a living out of it, I told him, I needed to be inspired, low and behold, one day I sit down, and I was coming up with this idea, and this song kinda came out, but I didn’t really have any lyrics in mind, and didn’t really know where to take it, so I thought about the song for my father that I had still to right LOL, so I started picturing in my head how I should start, well, I started writing about past memories of when I was a kid, and how I felt when he was around, and from there came the rest of the song, very much on its own, so here is this new song, about my father who I love very much, despite the fact that he left me and my family when I was only 4 years old. Even though he wasnt present he was still always a big part of my life emotionally and mentally - just not physically and the song pretty much reflects that.
