My people, mi gente...I wanted to share this experience with you for three reasons

1) because it involves me and Victor Manuelle (me and Victor , I like the way that sounds)

2)it's funny (even though the laugh is at my expense)

and

3)did I mention it's about Victor Manuelle **SIGH**

Well, thanks to my photographer friend Mariano Moreno Jr I was invited to attend Victor Manuelle's screening of his Madison Square Garden Performance DVD @ Tribeca sponsored by Chivas Regal. I would be attending as media but it was short notice so I was not able to get a cameraman to come with me and record the interview for www.egradioonline.com where I have my ladies night show. I invited my friend Maria who had a digital camera with video capability (so if anyone is wondering what to get me for Christmas,hint hint) and she promised she'd record and take pictures for me (I have yet to see them THANKS MARIA).

The place was crawling with media and it was a madhouse, I soon realized that even if Maria recorded the interview with her camera it wouldn't come out clear and you definately would not be able to hear the interview because of all the background noise.

Maria introduced me to John (Cucho) from www.salsamerengue.com and he offered to record and send me the footage of the interview for my the radio website (love you guys) and so I patiently waited my turn and when it was my turn, I stood directly in front of Victor Manuelle and I remember he smiled and said something and that's when it happened

I saw his perfect teeth and beautiful smile, his lips moved in slow motion but I didn't hear a word, I remembered I had to ask him something so I began to stutter and his eyes twinkled with delight and his cheeks were all rosy and his hair was perfect and then I said something in spanglish truly sounding like a Gringa hick. I had my questions prepared but I lost my train of thought ( truly my people, this never happens to me but there is always a first time) and when all else failed I just thanked him for his time and did the only respectable thing a girl in my position could do....

I asked for a kiss.

Oh yes, I did!

and his eyes twinkled once again and at that moment in my minds eye he was singing to me "Asi es la mujer, que Amoooooooo....Ohhhhh" (lol)

so I turned my cheek because I caught myself heading for his lips and he planted one right on my cheek and hugged me and I screamed

What a professional, right?

Oh well, I got my kiss and then later on as he walked around the room taking pictures with fans he pulled me in for another hug and picture *SIGH*

I think he loves me *Double Sigh*

I luf heem for 2 mush..XXOOXXOOXXXXX,smack, smack, slurp ,slurp

Aye Victor, si te cojo!

Lynx's Logic: At any given moment you may be taken out of your element and swooned by devilishly good looks, twinkling eyes and a charming sexy smile. When all else fails the human touch can soothe oh so much! Ask for a kiss and a hug. In the end the world is full of chubby chasers...including the entertainment world. Viva Gorditas!
