Clear the mantelpiece, scoot over the trophy wife, forget the alleged rapist rap >>> HEERRE COMESSSS the Maurice Podoloff Trophy (which is named in honor of the first commissioner of the NBA who served from 1946 until his retirement in 1963).

To us civilians this trophy is also known as the NBA MVP trophy to Mr. Kobe Bean Bryant.  Kobe has lead the Los Angeles Lakers to the top of the Western Conference, and although the season is not over yet, it is as promising as a Prom date, and access to your friendly neighborhood motel room.  The odds are great! 

(Sigh) But who am I kiddin’? There are sooo many haters everywhere by everyone who can’t rep the city where the sand meets the streets.  The media included, and they vote! 125 members of the media vote.  And they hate, ‘cause they probably all live in some suburban, frost-bitten, living on the out-skirts of larger cities (definitely outsiders looking in, possibly in envy) farms!  And they may not give it to the man who deserves it the mostest!

(Sigh #2 exhaling) Let’s hope Kobe gets his MVP. What? Did you mutter, Lebron? WTF!
