The MLB: (See previous blog: The Mitchell Report)

The NBA: NBA referee Tim Donaghy bet on basketball games over the past two seasons, including ones in which he officiated. According to a law enforcement official, the referee made calls to affect the point spread in games on which he or associates had wagered. 

The NFL:The New England Patriots and Spygate: where New England was caught video taping and stealing the other teams’ (New Jersey Jets) signals from the sideline.  Caught, red handed! This is against the rules, raising suspicions regarding the Patriots success.  San Diego Chargers standout linebacker Sean Merriman took steroids, and was still able to play in the Pro Bowl the same year, a year where he was suspended 4 games. 

The MLS:The Worlds highly thought of and established sport, most recently arrested five men on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud and false accounting as part of an ongoing investigation into football corruption (allegedly fixing games). 

Boxing: Boxing associations will be the first to say the purity of the sport is not what it once was.  For a prime example, turn to boxing promoter Don King…and his affiliation with organized crime figures. 

The NHL:No one cares…sorry. DO I LOOK CANADIAN?
