So now I am here in LA for, wow, a year...

I can't believe it but just a year ago I traded trains and metrocards for palm trees and exorbitant gas prizes!

Alright, so I'm here now and waht am I doing? Filling out blogs and uploading photos. But that's ok, because I just about love getting peaks and glimpses into lives I would never otherwise encounter.

I'm from Brooklyn. I do NOT enjoy the cold. I hate it even more when people say I should have been born used ot it. I'm pretty sure Eskimos regret crossing the Berring Strait. I doubt seal blubber can be that good.

I really like Puerto Rican food. Of which there is very little here on the West Coast. For all you Nuyoricans reading this out there...brace yourself....NO SAZON!!!

At least that I could find. I had to bring some from NYC when I went to go visit. I also can't find green bananas and platanos here. No morcilla and Chorizo seems to mean something else here. Interesting.

It's sunny everyday and the birds sing till about ten. On the down side, I can walk faster than the traffic moves a lot of the times. Thene again, how is this different from street traffic in NYC? People really do sell bags of fruit on the street like in S. America which I think is great. However, I'm not sure the bags have exactly been FDA approved. Stomach acid, don't fail me now!

Anyone from NYC, feel free to ask questions!
