Have You Met...

War of Movement Tour-day 1 Austin,TX

1 Rent a car, my car, a few trips to the airport to pick up the artists at varying times of the days and nights and we was out. The road 2 Austin is that of a 2 lane highway often times, where the highway turns into Main st. USA. A stoplight, general store, train track and hella small town laws looking for trouble. The 1st night of U.N.eYe's War of Movement Tour was with Almas Intocables with DJ Fade and Reverence (LA / TX), Mexican StepGrandfather of San Antonio, Krudas Cubensi of Cuba, Boca Floja of Mexico City and DJ Ethos of LA, Astex of San Antonio, Mycco of Houston, and Bombasta of Austin. There was a Chicano conference at the Austin University

so that attributed to the turn out and strong vibe of awakened Chicanos in the house. Chicano group, PODER helped create awareness about the event and it showed, gracias hermanas. We picked up the copies of pre-release album there in Austin. Slang Rocks did the artwork and Clone of Clay did the lay out  / colors and it looks so ill, 13 songs including 3 joints that were recently mixed down at Sugarhill studio, and that night I hustled them hard.

Everyone performed hard, people danced and the vibe was beautiful. The

merchandise tables looked so colorful with music, clothing and information from all over the world. Despite some foolish fools trying to get funny, the

positivety over shadowed all it was a success. I sold a gang of CD's and a

few Fourth Cycle shirts that night. We head to the hotel and stay up until 5am.
