The annual Hyphy Crunk Fest was this weekends place to be. Saturday night (3/8), kicked off with long lines at a dingy alley in Vernon. Drunk and excited ravers were barely controlled by the security guards. The patio area looked like an airport waiting area as people awaited friends and/or boyfriends that were having difficulty getting in. Yet party and drunkeness was in the air. The usual club goers could be seen sweating it up on the dance floor or getting their picture taken at one of the many photobooths set up in and out of the venue. Most of the known L.A. djs were all there minus paparazzi, joaquin, aoki and royal rumble. Everyone was fiercely dressed and ready to impress the party photogs. At around 1am the eagerly awaiting party seekers outside the venue began to join together and force their way in by ramming the  huge gate that kept them out of the event. This was a frightening sight for those already inside. A few girls were also harassed through out the night yet everyone was to drunk to say anything about it. It was the usual party scene brightly dressed kids, people puking  out in the patio, and lots of alcoholic beverages being past around. As everyone shouted the lyrics to Does it Offend You, Yeah?'s "We Are Rockstars" on the dancefloor, the party raved on. All in all a great night and another adventure to add to the book.
