I've been hearing about The Cool Kids for a minute but never paid attention until I became addicted to NBA Live '08. Their song "88" is featured on the game and it's super fresh. These indie rap darlings finally released an EP today (The Bake Sale) and it's full of songs like "Black Mags," and "88." Yes, they're retro but they're also a breath of fresh air. No one is rocking like these kids. It's innovative hip-hop at its best.
