I've been to many live shows and concerts. Some as a fan, some as a guest and some as press. But recently I went to a show that blew my mind. The caliber of each member of this group is top notch. I have to say that the best rock show that I ever seen in my life has been The Mars Volta. You may say: "Wow D. that's a big statement". But that's the way I feel. When I was watching their show, I felt that I was watching all my favorite rock bands, PINK FLOYD, AC/DC, JIMMY HENDRIX, THE DOORS, LED ZEPELLIN, NIRVANA, METALLICA, BLACK FLAG, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, RUSH, SEX PISTOLS, THE CLASH, CAFE TACUBA AND MANU CHAO WERE ALL COMPRESSED AND REGROUPED INTO THE MARS VOLTA.

I recommend everyone that likes rock to witness these Latino and African American Brothers put on a show. You might agree with me.
