These are some of my dark poems that I wrote back in the day.

They are very dark in nature and very deep in meaning, even though the words are very simplistic.

ON THE BRIGHTSIDE!! 

I don't even remotely feel the way that i did when i wrote them.

Funny thing happens when you grow up... you stop thinking like an over-emotional teenager that just had her Ipod nano reprogrammed with every Britney song to date by her ex-bestfriend.... she'd be my ex-best friend too!!

Anyhow, read and delve into the dark mind that used to reside in my head.... I mean it's still in there, but she is in a coma until she is called upon!

Jagged Edge

A jagged edge pressed against my warm soft skin
Dare I push to get to the skin within
Every step closer I feel the blade sharpen
with the sight of blood making my head spin

my heart begins to break
my hands begin to shake...
and it's a feeling I can't take.

My heart crys and my tears bleed,
It's a feeling that i need,
while the pain inside can not hide,
it over powers me
it takes my life,
as my heart bleeds.

Lonely Girl

Alone and tired she wandered on
without knowing where she was going
but, knowing she had to keep moving on

To escape all that betrayed her,
and scared her
Not letting the overwhelming fear,
inside her take its turn

Emotionally she was drained of all the,
feeling left in her heart
She pulled the trigger because,
she was smart

If not killing it, it would have,
killed her
Even though she felt like it's what,
she deserved

The anger pent inside, came out,
exploding with every cry
She knew she wanted to die.

But love and pain makes you do really crazy things
and now for her it's a new beginning.

Life is nothing but a twisted game
she was merely a player in a world betrayed.

As I Lay

As I lay beside you
my mind begins to cry
of thoughts that shouldn't cross my mind

Thoughts of Rage and Pain
Ending with a shallow grave

Wicked laughter thru broken tears
Over things I've envisioned for many years

Daylight begins to wash over my flushed skin
Of things that should have never been

As I sit here beside you
The last time I'll ever do
My hands begin to tremble
Of malignance I wish I could dissemble

As I stand here beside you
Now being able to see through

Gazing upon a lifeless soul departing
with Battered Hopes and Infected Dreams
And I walk away with nothing left it seems,
but the Sunlight that always follows and soothes me.

now is gone

What was Hope,
now is lost

What was Happiness,
now is dispair

What was Me
Now has disappeared

Left nothing for Today
Emptiness fills Tomorrow
Vanished now is the Future
I forever will long.
