TMZ has been posting for the last 4 hours that Jay-Z and Beyonce might be getting married today and they even have a live stream at the top of their page showing every detail of the comings and goings of Beyonce, her parents, and everyone else. Apparently the duo took out a marriage license on April 1^st but people weren’t sure if it was an April Fool’s joke or not. My question is…who the hell cares? Besides their friends and family, of course? Really, how does it affect my life that TMZ needs to carry a live stream on the top of their website. They have been dating for years now and there have been rumors for awhile that they were or were not going to get married and that Beyonce’s dad doesn’t like Jay-Z, blah, blah, blah.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have also been fodder of the “are they or aren’t they” rumors for quite awhile too. Hell, they have 4 kids with one or two more on the way so does it really matter if they have a piece of paper legally declaring them married? I’d say they have already made quite a commitment to each other just by the mere fact that they are raising four children together and they seem to be doing quite a good job at it. I’m not sure why everyone is so damned concerned when or if they get married. Is it a moral issue or does everyone just want to see Angie in a white dress? I don’t really think she’s a virgin anymore so she may not wear white, but I’m sure she would like very lovely in whatever she choses to wear should she ever decide to get married to Brad. Damn, he’s so pretty he would probably even look nice in a dress. And wouldn’t the kids make cute ring bearers and flower girls? Do you think Jennifer Aniston would be invited to the wedding? Oooh, that would be harsh.

But back to the BIG story of the day…If Beyonce and Jay-Z do end up getting married tonight or this weekend, good for them. I wish them a lifetime of happiness together, or at least a longer marriage than her sister Solange’s, which only lasted a few years. And if they don’t get married I hope it is a damn good party they are throwing because a hell of a lot of people are paying attention to whatever is going on over there. Oh, and send me a souvenir from the honeymoon. Maybe a nice little keychain or t-shirt or something.
